Skills for Innovation

The program "Skills for Innovation" (Ski-Fi) is intended to be accessible to all undergraduate students at HdM during the pilot phase who want to deepen their skills in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship. It supports them in choosing from the wide range of courses, student projects, and corporate internships that provide innovation skills. At the same time, it ensures that students from all degree programs receive ECTS credits through the options of elective courses, import, and credit transfer. Participants thus develop an interdisciplinary focus on entrepreneurship in parallel with their degree program and can have this reflected in their transcript (certificate). The second phase involves transferring the program to partner universities.

Skills for Innovation aims to:

• Increase visibility of the entrepreneurship education offerings,
• Bundle entrepreneurship courses with the required competencies,
• Include all degree programms, and
• Provide students with a state recognized certificate that demonstrates their skills in innovation to future employers.

Skills for Innovation is funded by the Foundation for Innovation in University Teaching as part of the "Freiraum" competition. Duration: September 1, 2022 - August 31, 2023.
